We Love House with Dimitri From Paris (France)
djB opens

Friday 2 July 2004 at Zouk
The man who made French house chic and fashionable, Dimitri from Paris finally returns to grace the Zouk decks. Envied by many as the DJ who has been rubbing shoulders with Hugh Hefner, founder of Playboy, Dimitri has since compiled and mixed 2 cds for Playboy, and has rocked the mythical Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills, with attendees ranging from L.A. club-hoppers to celebrities such as Spike Jonze and Sofia Coppola. Loved for his inimitable deluxe disco funk style, Dimitri's set is a wonderfully eclectic mix of thoughtfully marinated beats topped with a dash of Brazilian jazz and a generous helping of classic disco, mixed together into his own special recipe.

After a very successful debut here last year, Bamboo Music is back with co-founder and A+R Hess Barber ready to rock the Zouk main room once again. Since launching the label, Hess has been working hard to take the label to a new level, lining up a series of releases from international artists like Alan Barrat, Dr Kucho, Cesar Del Rio, and even our very own Aldrin. Joining him is Washington DC's Saeed, of Saeed & Palash fame, here to promote his latest release on Bamboo Music entitled 'You Know I've Got It'.
